All Aboard! Check Out the Boobs Cruise

Your next getaway is certainly overdue. If Cancun, Mexico is a destination you’re considering, might I suggest looking into SHA’s Advanced SARs which includes the options of a Boobs Cruise? Not to be confused with Booze Cruise, which is still fun but decidedly less fun than this, the Boobs Cruise is a topless/nude catamaran day trip. It is operated by CancunCare.com and is located at the Temptations Cancun Resort—though you do not have to be a guest at the resort to join in the fun!

SHA’s Advanced SAR visits different countries to provide students immersive experiences to enhance their professional relationships and the relationships they have with patients. Therapists, psychologists, doctors and other medical professionals often encounter patients that live an alternative lifestyle, however they often don’t have the context or language to provide adequate care. This is where an Advanced SAR with Sexual Health Alliance steps in. A safe space to explore what it means to be immersed in lifestyle culture and how to have better conversations with patients surrounding risk, negotiation and relationship health.

This experience will also challenge personal beliefs, values, and biases in a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Here’s what to expect:

  • Experiential Learning: Engage in hands-on activities that provide real-world insight into human sexuality.

  • Small Breakout Groups: Participate in intimate discussions to explore and reflect on personal attitudes and values.

  • Large Group Discussions: Benefit from diverse perspectives and shared learning experiences.

  • Multi-Format Exposure: Learn through a variety of mediums, including media, role-plays, experiential exercises, and guided reflections.

  • Safe & Supportive Environment: Navigate complex topics with the guidance of experienced facilitators and peers.

Why Attend?

  • Deepen Self-Awareness: Challenge your perspectives and expand your comfort zone in discussing human sexuality.

  • Enhance Professional Competency: Improve your ability to support clients, patients, or students with confidence and sensitivity.

  • Build Lasting Connections: Join a community of like-minded professionals who often become lifelong friends and supportive colleagues.

  • Experience Personal Growth: Gain insights that will impact both your personal and professional life in profound ways.

An advanced SAR with SHA is more than just a training—it’s an opportunity for deep reflection, meaningful dialogue, and lasting change that will surely impact all future patients and clients.

This particular experience in Cancun is described as an adult playground and the itinerary is packed to keep you playing. It’s a full day starting off with snorkeling before heading to Isla Mujeres for a buffet lunch on a private beach. After lunch and some adult-themed games, it’s back on the boat for a quick jaunt over to a calm area in the ocean where the water is crystal clear and vibrant blue. Here you have the opportunity to skinny dip in this brilliant water before heading back to the marina.

To potentially assuage some of your skepticism, the Boobs Cruise has a detailed FAQ page. They’ve thought out every possible question like: Do you have to be topless? The Boobs Cruise expects topless but never demands it. You are encouraged to be naked too, just please remember sunscreen either way! I also appreciated seeing the question “Do you allow single guys?” and, in response, they do limit the amount of single men and do not allow groups of men larger than two people.

So if you find yourself in Mexico, perhaps for SHA’s October SAR, look into the Boobs Cruise—you don’t want to be on any other catamaran!
