Since 2015, SHA has hosted over 5500 people at our events, while certifying sex therapists, counselors, educators, and coaches. Our program is rich with sex-positive historical and educational texts, video interviews with professionals and experts in the field, and exercises to help retain and interpret this vibrant knowledge. This certificate program includes three conferences with professionals and four rigorous online modules, each detailing the equally important branches for discussing sex and sexuality with your patients. This certificate program is for any professional looking to expand their practice, sexual business, or education or students earning a degree in psychology, already-practicing therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists. If you are already practicing, a certificate in sex therapy allows you to offer specialized treatment to clients, boosting your business significantly. COUPLES & SEX THERAPY CERTIFICATE

The Sexual Health Alliance is dedicated to furthering positive sex practices and accurate sexual education. Our Sexuality Educator Certificate Program, which includes three conferences with professionals and four rigorous online modules, each detailing the equally important branches for discussing sex and sexuality with your students and clients, is for those looking to lead workshops, teach classes, or organize and facilitate seminars. Sexuality educators may teach in the classroom at the elementary, secondary, and higher education levels. They may also provide education for groups of children, adolescents, or adults, training for professionals, and outreach and education in community-based, healthcare, corporate, and faith-based settings. SHA’s Sexuality Educators are trained in unbiased ways to discuss and teach sex-positive education to anyone. As a sex educator, you can design and conduct workshops, courses, and seminars; contribute to current sexuality education literature; develop curriculum; plan and administer programs; deliver lectures; and provide one-on-one client educational sessions.
SEX COACH & CONSULTANT CERTIFICATE
Our Sexuality Coach and Consultant Certificate Program includes three conferences with professionals and four rigorous online modules, each detailing the equally important branches for discussing sex and sexuality with your clients. Our program is rich with sex-positive historical and educational texts, video interviews with professionals and experts in the field, and exercises to help retain and interpret this vibrant knowledge. This program is designed for those looking to provide sexuality consultations; sexuality coaching; intimacy consulting and coaching; trainings, courses and webinars; and retreats and groups. Our students include those already working with individuals and relationships, licensed therapists that want to treat sexuality issues, sexological bodyworkers, sex workers, sexuality writers and bloggers, and sexuality educators that want to add sexuality consulting or relational sex coaching to their arsenal. Some of our students coach and consult on sexuality specifically, while others go on to focus on intimacy.
SEXUALITY COUNSELOR CERTIFICATE
The Sexual Health Alliance is dedicated to furthering positive sex practices and accurate sexual education. For any professional looking to expand their practice, sexual business, or education, the Sexual Health Alliance has a certificate program for you. Our Sexuality Counselor Certificate Program, which three conferences with professionals and four rigorous online modules, each detailing the equally important branches for discussing sex and sexuality with your clients, is for those working in a clinical or medical setting, giving specific suggestions and advice. Our program is rich with sex-positive historical and educational texts, video interviews with professionals and experts in the field, and exercises to help retain and interpret this vibrant knowledge. Sexuality counselors are typically Planned Parenthood counselors, nurses and other health professionals, school counselors, and clinical pastoral care and counseling providers. Sexuality counseling is generally short term and client-centered, focusing on the immediate concern or problem.
CONSENSUAL NON-MONOGAMY CERTIFICATE
Our Consensual Non-Monogamy Certification Program is taught by the Sexual Health Alliance and Dr. Elisabeth Sheff, one of a handful of global academic experts on polyamory, and the foremost academic expert on children in polyamorous families. You will also hear from other expert contributors and premier leaders in the sexuality field. This exclusive certificate program in monogamy and consensual non-monogamy consists of a holistic approach to alternative and diverse relationships. This program is based on a sex-positive framework that works to reduce sexual shame. This program provides you with the training necessary to assist your clients’ journey through and towards non-monogamy and polyamorous relationships. In this program, you will learn the tools to help clients develop hearty support systems, and healthy coping skills, and work to enact positive change in their lives. This program is for all professionals, therapists, educators, counselors, coaches, healers, and anyone interested in learning more about different types of relationships.
The Sexual Health Alliance, in conjunction with the Supernova of Kink, Midori, is proud to have created KIC, the Kink Informed Certification Program that educates therapists, coaches, educators, as well as other sexuality experts about kink, BDSM, and alternative sexuality which provides you with all the tools needed to truly become a kink-aware or kink-positive therapist or professional. This program utilizes a Strength-Based Approach to working with these populations. This program is for you if you are a kink-aware therapist, kink positive therapist, educator, coach, or consultant who works with individuals engaging in kink, BDSM, various sexualities. This program is for you if you strive to serve your clients’ needs through non-judgemental sex positivity while celebrating their diversity in sexual expression. This program is for you if you not only want to grow your sexuality business but also expand your reach to more people and spread sex positivity and kink awareness.
PROBLEM SEXUAL BEHAVIOR CERTIFICATE
Sexual Health Alliance along with Dr. David Ley and Michael Vigorito, have created PSB, the Problem Sexual Behavior Certification Program that educates therapists, coaches, educators, as well as other sexuality experts about any sexual behavior that might pose problematic, such as pornography or other sexually explicit material, and the most-current and positive treatment for such issues. Our Problem Sexual Behavior certification program provides you with the training to conduct client assessments and plan treatment accordingly while conceptualizing everything in a healthy, sex-positive framework that works to reduce sexual shame. In this program, you will learn the tools for clients to develop hearty support systems, healthy coping skills, and enact positive change in their lives. Additionally, this certification program assists you in understanding and negotiating your client’s sexual needs, identifying any moral or religious conflicts that may affect sexual function, and approaching any problem sexual behavior that might pose risk to the client or others.
