Check the requirements
See if you meet the educational requirements for the program you are interested in. Here is a quick reference:
(a) Sex Therapy
Must have or be in the process of obtaining a master's degree and state license in a mental health profession before completing the program (LPC/LCSW/etc.). Students can be enrolled in a master's degree program which will give them the ability to obtain licensure after graduation. These programs are eligible for AASECT certification.
Must have a bachelors degree in any profession before completing the program. These programs are eligible for AASECT certification.
(f) Sex and Relationship Coach
Some college preferred, but not necessary. Wow us with a great personal statement! This program is NOT eligible for AASECT certification as AASECT does not certify sex coaches.
