SHA's scholarship has been offered for the last 4 years and is part of its goal to continue building equity within the sexuality fields. 

Since its inception in 2015, SHA has awarded over $250,000+ in scholarships for certification programs and conferences.

Notes:

  • Applicants are asked to submit basic information along with personal statements, letters of recommendation, and a video.

  • Deadline will be on January 31, 2026

*Please note that the scholarship does not include supervision.

Check the requirements

See if you meet the educational requirements for the program you are interested in. Here is a quick reference: 

(a) Sex Therapy

(b) Sexuality Counselor

(c) Sex Educator

Must have a bachelors degree in any profession before completing the program. These programs are eligible for AASECT certification.

(d) Sex Coach or Sexologist

Once accepted, conveniently enroll by making your first payment

Receive access to our online learning platform and start your coursework anytime.

Next, schedule your SAR (Sexuality Attitude Reassessment)

SHA’s Online SARs are typically offered 2-3 times per year.

SHA is approved as a provider of continuing education by several national agencies and will apply for continuing education credits for professionals from state agencies when needed. 

There are several national, state and local licensing boards and professional organizations that will grant continuing education credit for attendance at SHA’s Conferences, workshops and weekend trainings. If you have any questions about continuing education credits for your state license, please contact us.
