What is the Kink Informed Certification Program (KIC)?

This is the part where you get all of the juicy program details. The Kink Informed Certification (KIC) program is one of the specialty certifications offered by the Sexual Health Alliance. We also offer specialty certificates in Consensual Non-Monogomy and Problem Sexual Behavior. These specialty certifications take sexuality education to the next level and provide a competitive edge to your services as a sexuality provider. 

Here are a few of the KIC program basics:

  • The KIC program take 6 to 12 months to complete

  • It is 100% online and flexible 

  • You will gain 125 CEs

  • The program utilizes a strength-based approach

What is the KIC program like? What will I learn about kink?

    • Held once a month on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 12:30 pm Central time (tentative)

  • Monthly case consultations with MIDORI

    • Every month directly following the live webinars, stay online to discuss current cases and learn more from example case studies. Don’t have a specific case to discuss? Listen & learn for your future work.

  • Monthly Special Topic Recorded Webinars with expert guests

    • Special Guests will challenge your notions on kink and BDSM relationships

  • A Specialized SHA Certification in Kink
