A more detailed description of our refund policy can be found here.
Students must email a staff member to discuss their options and all refunds/alternate use of funds must be approved by SHA Team.

Grievance protocol & Procedures
Students are encouraged to talk directly to those whom they have issues, to facilitate resolution without recourse to further procedures whenever possible.
If resolution is not achieved:
Submit a complaint in writing to the educational director: Sexual Health Alliance at SHAcertifications@gmail.com
If you feel that a class, course or presenter has acted in violation of the AASECT Code of Professional Ethics please adhere to the following procedures:
Submit a complaint in writing to the educational director: Sexual Health Alliance at SHAcertifications@gmail.com. The education director of SHA will review this complaint with the other workshop coordinators. We will make every effort to engage in discussion with the participant to attempt to resolve the issue(s) related to the grievance. In addition, SHA will offer alternative measures for assisting the participant to resolve the grievances they raise, such as offering a one-on-one mentoring session, additional resources on a case-by-case basis, and/or referral to alternative CE garnering events by SHA in lieu of the one offered. Furthermore, SHA will make recommendations for competent mental health professionals that may be able to provide more in depth psychological care for the aggrieved participant. If earlier action steps fail to resolve the problem, AASECT should be contacted at ce@aasect.org
