The Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) promotes an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to sexuality with the goal of fostering cooperation and dialogue among diverse professionals.
Throughout the year, SHA facilitates communication among sexual health providers, general practitioners and advocates through its signature lecture series, roundtable forums, and educational workshops.
All of our trainings are open to all different types of professionals and industries. We provide the highest quality of training in sexuality from the world’s experts while providing a community for sex positive professionals to learn from one another locally. All internships are paid/educational stipend.

Interns
We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and talented social media and content interns to help us better engage our online communities.
SOCIAL CREATOR
Follows current social media calendar and assists in creating and posting images or videos to SHA’s and Respark’s platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Social Creators will work alongside SHA/Respark’s Marketing Team. As a social creator for SHA/Respark, you will have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles in the digital sphere.
Weekly Assignments:
For Social Creators, assignments are tailored to the social platform or account you will be assigned, but, in general, each Social Creator is in charge of their part of the social calendar and usually post five (5) times per week.
Position Requirements:
10+ hours available weekly to commit to program
Meeting weekly assignments as described above
Available for one-on-ones with specific team members and for biweekly (every other week) team meetings

CONTENT WRITER - WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY TAKING NEW INTERNS FOR THIS ROLE
Writes engaging, SEO Optimized, well-researched, and celebratory articles for SHA’s blog Nymphomedia and Respark Therapy’s blog. As a content writer for SHA, you will have the opportunity to research, question, and formulate your own opinions about current sexuality topics all while sharing them with our ever-growing community. This position is ideal for current students who have access to university libraries (both digitally and physically), those familiar with Google Scholar, and those who can search for appropriate, relevant information.
People come to SHA’s blog, Nymphomedia, because we talk about everything and anything, as long as it pertains to sex, sexuality, or gender. We do not shy away from topics, but also do carefully consider what we say and how we use our voices. Chances are, if you’re thinking about a certain topic, someone else out there is too, so let’s write about it.
Weekly Assignments:
Two (2) minimum 800+ word articles per week [note: this could be one long piece!]
At least two (2) reputable sources (think academic, peer-reviewed) along with any other necessary contextual research
Correction of edits and comments from Content Manager
Position Requirements:
10+ hours available weekly to commit to program
Must have SEO experience or willingness to learn
Meeting weekly assignments as described above
Available for one-on-ones with specific team members and for biweekly (every other week) team meetings
Access to computer and internet
Access to reputable scholarship (either access to a university’s library or proficient use of Google Scholar)

OPERATIONS / ADMINISTRATION
Assists with certain behind-the-scenes, administrative tasks such as database management, document creation, and other specific as-needed tasks, making this the perfect position for those interested in business management, logistics, or operations. This position will work with many applications, sometimes a few at once, so the applicant must be comfortable navigating multiple windows and applications at once. This position requires the applicant to have access to a computer and internet.
Weekly Assignments:
Like Social Creators, these tasks will be specific to you and assigned once you are onboarded.
