Application for SHA's annual full BIPOC scholarship is now open until November 24th 2024!

This scholarship covers the full cost of certification program for any track of your choice: educator, counselor, therapist, or coach!


WHY BIPOC SCHOLARSHIP?

SHA's BIPOC scholarship has been offered for the last 4 years and is part of its goal to continue building equity within the sexuality fields. 

True to its commitmet to diversity and inclusion, since it's inception in 2015, SHA has awarded over $225,000+ in scholarships for certification programs and conferences.

Applications are due by November 24th, 2024.

Applicants are asked to submit basic information along with personal statements, letters of recommendation, and a video.

*Please note that the scholarship does not include supervision.

Check the requirements

See if you meet the educational requirements for the program you are interested in. Here is a quick reference: 

(a) Sex Therapy

(b) Couples and Sex Therapy

Must have or be in the process of obtaining a master's degree and state license in a mental health profession before completing the program (LPC/LCSW/etc.). Students can be enrolled in a master's degree program which will give them the ability to obtain licensure after graduation. These programs are eligible for AASECT certification. 

(c) Sexuality Counselor

(d) Sexuality Educator

Must have a bachelors degree in any profession before completing the program. These programs are eligible for AASECT certification.

(e) Sex Coach and Consultant

(f) Sex and Relationship Coach

Some college preferred, but not necessary. Wow us with a great personal statement! This program is NOT eligible for AASECT certification as AASECT does not certify sex coaches.

Select the best program for you and easily complete the application online.

Once accepted, conveniently enroll by making your first payment.

Receive access to our online learning platform and start your coursework anytime.


 

5.

Next, schedule your SAR (Sexuality Attitude Reassessment),

typically offered 2-3 times per year.


 

6.

Finally, schedule your three Sexceptional Weekends,

choosing topics that fit your schedule and interests. Below are our first few for 2025!
