My Honest Review
I had high expectations for the Thrust based on many positive reviews. Haley Folk, a writer for Elite Daily, saw the same tweet I did and after trying the Thrust wrote “If it has a million fans I’m one of them.” I did have to wait for the toy to go on sale before I was able to purchase it as it comes with a price tag of $199. Luckily though Bellesa regularly has sales and I was able to get the toy for 50% off. As a college student on a budget, I definitely would not have purchased the toy at full price, but if you’re comfortable enough, I’d say it’s worth it. The fact that shipping was free was an added plus. The toy came in pretty pale pink packaging and it was easy to unbox. After a quick clean, the toy was ready to go, it was somewhat charged straight out of the box so I was able to use it right away. Upon initially turning the toy on to test the charge though I did notice that it is quite loud if nothing is going on in the background to cover it up. Luckily, I knew exactly how to solve the problem.
I love romanticizing masturbation when I have the time, especially because I consider orgasming a main part of my daily self-care routine. I decided my first use of the Thrust was the perfect opportunity to draw myself a bath (the Thrust is waterproof), light some candles, and put on my self-care playlist. I typically reach for water-based lube when using an internal toy but I knew it would quickly rinse away in my bathtub. Luckily, this wasn't an issue because the silicone material of the Thrust is smooth and soft, making it easily insertable. The only true con of the toy is that it isn't exactly a one-size-fits-all. While the internal portion was easily insertable, the external clitoral stimulator had to be held in place to ensure it was targeting the correct area. Personally, having to hold the toy in place did not take away from the experience for me. The thrusting mechanism does emulate the real thing and once the clitoral stimulator was in the correct spot I was able to reach orgasm in just a few minutes. After my first use, it quickly became my go-to toy for when I want a sense of penetration during my more intimate self-care time.
Overall, I would say the Thrust is worth it. There are a few cons: the price may be unaffordable for some, the toy can be loud if there’s no background noise, and you may need to hold it in place to fit the anatomy of your body. Most of these cons are “fixable” though because Bellesa frequently has sales and music can easily cover up the sound of the toy. As far as having to hold the toy in place, it did not take away from the experience for me. I was still able to relax and felt like the toy did all of the work for me. The positive reviews on this toy are reflective of the truth. The orgasms are intense and it adds a new layer of fun to masturbation. Whether you're new to the world of sex toys or a seasoned enthusiast, the Bellesa Thrust is a fantastic addition to your collection.
