More Sex Games to Try Next

No matter what your intimate life looks like, sex games can be an exciting way to switch up your routine and deepen your connection with your sexual partners. From card games designed to explore turn-ons and desires to complex board games that will be the centerpiece of a sexy game night, these products will put a spin on the typical “Spin the Bottle” games. This list supports women, queer, and BIPOC-owned brands designed to include diversity in identities and attractions.

Lovehoney’s Bondage Game

This multi-piece game takes a whole new spin on couples’ sex games. Each box comes with “command” cards, dice, a blindfold, restraints, and a beginner’s flogger. The cards instruct each partner to try out these items on each other, experimenting with tying each other up, sensory deprivation, and roleplay. This game is well suited for couples (or anyone with a sexy relationship!) who are new to bondage and are looking for a fun and easy pathway into the kink community. According to reviewers, this game “brought a whole new aspect to our sex life” and is “very fun to play before sex.” The items included can also be used outside of the game, which makes it a versatile choice! Bondage Seductions can be found on Lovehoney’s website, a company that is part of the Stonewall Diversity Champions program. (This program, which is committed to creating a safe and equitable workplace for LGBTQ+ people, is something to look out for and support in businesses!)

Unbound’s Truth or Dare

While Truth or Dare isn’t a groundbreaking addition to the world of couples games, I had to include this one because I am a huge fan of Unbound (and their website is so cute). This game is a classic for a reason; it asks partners to lean into the discomfort and push themselves out of their comfort zones. The sample prompts include, “What is your idea of great foreplay?” and “Touch yourself the way you like to be touched.” Steamy stuff! But Unbound really wins you over in the description, which says: “Each deck includes two Pass cards that allow you to skip a card if you’re not feeling it because IN THIS HOUSE, we play gender-neutral, consent-centered sex games only.” I’d hit Add to Cart just for that. Unbound’s Truth or Dare game would make a great foreplay activity, so pour some wine (or your favorite soda) and play on the couch or in the bedroom. We’re willing to bet that the game will get you and your partner(s) into the mood in no time.

She Bop’s HUMP!

She Bop, the woman-owned sex company based out of Portland, carries several sex-themed games in store and on their websites. The most interesting of these is a game called HUMP! which gathers trivia questions from the following categories: sex positions, foreplay, unique experiences, and down and dirty. An example card is, “What is typically the most sensitive spot on a man’s penis?” (My guess is the glans or the frenulum.) As a reader of our Nymphomedia blog, you could beat your partner at sex trivia, so make sure to wager something fun on the game… Ask your partner(s) if they would be willing to bet oral sex or a bucket list roleplay on the outcome, and then put your skills to the test for the prize. If trivia’s not your thing (but it should be), there’s also a deck of sex positions, a role-play scenario game, and a kissing deck available. Supporting an awesome local business is always a good idea, so might as well pick them all up for one heck of a sexy game night.

Lovers’ Pleasure Oracle Deck

If your spiritual and sexual identities are closely intertwined, you may enjoy exploring a sensual oracle deck. For those unfamiliar, an oracle deck is similar to a tarot card deck but can feature a range of insights. In the case of this sensual deck, these cards provide advice to guide you on your sexual journey and promote intimate growth. Developed by queer, neurodivergent creativity coach Jerico Mandybur, these cards are designed to connect you to your truest desires and refocus your intimacy on playfulness and joy. Their cards are beautifully designed and would make the perfect coffee table piece, but they can also be used in the bedroom, alone or with partners, to kickstart your sense of sexuality. The Pleasure deck is available from women-owned sex store Lovers, and while you’re there check out their sexual health and gender affirmation sections for some awesome tools!

Plato’s Sex Game App

This digital sex game is an awesome alternative for discreet, travel-friendly play. Available on mobile or laptop, this game includes a virtual game board and five hundred prompting cards with sexy tasks and erotic questions. The game is customizable too; there are four levels, from the romantic kissing of Level 1 to the wild and sexy Level 4. Here’s how the developer describes it:

“Race around the Octagon completing unique, romantic tasks collecting Ultimate fantasy cards. First player to complete all the trips around the board wins the game and acts out their best favourite sexual fantasy card.”

This game stands out from others for its usability in group settings. Partners can play on date night, but they can also include other couples and play in group sex scenarios. Designed with diversity in mind, this game can be used by any genders and orientations.

Sexy games are the perfect way to enhance your sex life or to just have a night of connection. It can be as simple as adding stripping to a normal card game, or as intricate as one of these multi-piece game sets, but what’s really important is to prioritize consent and pleasure.
