This course offers students the opportunity to perform a comparative analysis of sexual attitudes and behaviors in Berlin and other countries. Students will also learn about cultural issues and have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture to enhance their cultural sensitivity and global perspective.
-
Students are responsible for their own transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals. We will choose the best hotel and location for the activities planned at a moderate budget and you can choose to stay there or anywhere else you desire.
Book your flights and hotel to arrive in Berlin by morning on Sept. 20th, with activities starting at 4:00 PM. Plan to leave no earlier than Sept 25th. The last day will be a cultural day to meet other colleagues in the area and/or to visit a park, a club or anything else they have had their eye on throughout the program.
Feel free to extend your stay; we’ll provide a list of optional activities to explore the city.
-
We’ll stay in the city center of Berlin to be close to most activities. We will meet at a central hotel most days, and many students may choose to stay there as well. We'll send the hotel's details and address after you reserve your spot. You are free to book accommodations anywhere you prefer—our suggestions are simply for convenience and our meeting point.
We will also offer the option for students to pair up and share rooms to help reduce costs as the program date approaches.
-
Your Study Abroad ticket includes the Sexceptional Weekend: Global Love with Justin Lehmiller and Expert Guest lecturers. We highly recommend you to attend live online. If you can not, please let us know and plan to watch the recording later as this will be part of your course CEs. We encourage all study abroad students to be there. (Zoom links will be sent after you register).

You do not need to be a SHA student or member to attend! But, we're sure you will be forever a SHA fan at the end of the program! You'll also most likely be Justin's new bff! ;)

Yes! Many of our students will attend more than one program. Each program offers different experiences, insights and perspectives. Some will even travel together between cities if the dates line up. Come to all of them!
